Every distance

Your physio in your corner

Triathlon stacks three sports' worth of load on one body. John combines endurance coaching with a physiotherapist's understanding of how that load accumulates, so swim, bike and run are planned together rather than in isolation.

As a competitive triathlete himself, he knows the practical side too: brick sessions, transition fatigue, and fitting it all into a working week.

About John Fagan

How triathlon coaching works

  1. 1

    Apply

Tell John about your sport, goals, experience and the time you have to train. Applying is free, with no payment at this stage.

  2. 2

    Application review

John reads every application personally and gets back to you to let you know whether coaching is a good fit.

  3. 3

    Acceptance

If you're both happy to go ahead, you'll be invited to start coaching.

  4. 4

    Subscription

Set up your monthly subscription. There's no long-term contract.

  5. 5

    Onboarding

Your coaching starts with a 45-minute video consultation, included in your first month, then your individualized plan is set up in TrainingPeaks or an equivalent platform.

  6. 6

    Ongoing coaching

Weekly training reviews and adjustments, a video check-in every month, and messaging support between sessions.

Many athletes combine services, for example a gait analysis before starting a running program.
