More than a training plan

Most online coaching gives you sessions. Fagan Performance gives you an experienced sports physiotherapist in your corner, someone who understands your training, your body and your racing.

A clinician reading your training

A physiotherapist sees what a typical coach can miss: how your body is coping with the load, which niggles matter, and when to adjust before a small problem becomes a lost month.

Elite-sport standards, made practical

Lessons from supporting elite runners and athletes, applied to everyday athletes training around work and family. Detail where it matters, without the jargon.

Someone who's raced it

From international hurdling to distance running and triathlon, John knows what consistent training and race day feel like from the inside.

Four ways to work together

Two monthly coaching services, a one-off running biomechanics assessment, and a monthly online physiotherapy service. Each one comes with an experienced sports physio in your corner.

How John coaches

The same principles guide every service, whether you're training for your first 10K or a full-distance triathlon.

Long-term development over quick fixes
Progress that lasts comes from consistent, well-managed training across months and seasons, not one heroic block.
Individual, never off the shelf
Your program is built around your goals, history and schedule, and it changes as you do.
Evidence, honestly applied
Decisions draw on current sports science and physiotherapy research. Where the evidence is thin, you'll hear that too.
Training that fits real life
Sleep, work, travel and family all affect how you respond. A missed week is information, not a failure.

How working together works

Everything happens online, so it works wherever you train: the US, Ireland, the UK and beyond. Each service has its own simple path.
